Generative Artificial Intelligence Exploration

Synthetic Emulation and Reinvention Images (SERIs) use noncontemporary artists to explore the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence. SERIs are also a tool to learn more about the selected artists.

This project began in early 2025, and since then, I have generated well over 1000 images. For this portfolio, I have selected 24 images from the early period of exploration, when Dall-e3 was OpenAI's default image generation model. The images represent an array of artists and styles, though they were selected somewhat haphazardly.
