In this post I will explore the "Dystopian Idolatries" prompt. Like the "Abstract Dystopias" prompt, this "prompt" is more of a process in which I use certain core modifiers, provide a vague subject, and let the AI (a GPT I created called AI Art Assistant) do the heavy lifting in generating a prompt and image.
Basic Prompt Elements
Artist Modifiers - No artist modifiers are needed in this prompt.
Style Modifiers - the "core" style modifiers include: abstract figurative art, fractal patterns, action painting, layers, geometric idolatry.
Color Modifiers - No specific color modifiers are necessary, but I typically use dystopian subdued color scheme.
Subject Modifiers - any subject matter is permissible - in the image above I used an Egyptian goddess with her feet in the bottom of the Nile and her head as the moon, gazing down on Thebes.

This prompt works best with Dall-e3, although you can use it (or versions of it) and get some interesting results with other models.
Variation - Balloon Over Paris
I began testing this prompt asking Dall-e3 to produce vertical images. It did, but after awhile the "vertical" images were almost all widescreen image rotated on their side. This is one vertical image that came out the way I wanted.
